Role: Contract Manager
Location: Stoke
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £36,000 - £45,000
The Role:
- Assist the Procurement Manager in advancing departmental goals in line with the overarching Procurement Strategy.
- Lead procurement projects, managing both pre- and post-tender discussions with customers and suppliers.
- Oversee a designated portfolio, working closely with collaborative partners and customers to identify and pursue contract development opportunities.
- Analyse both contracted and non-contracted areas within the portfolio to uncover opportunities for new agreements and improvements, setting clear objectives, timelines, and detailed project plans focused on delivering value for money.
The Person:
- Public sector procurement knowledge
- Experience of working on high value contracts
- Knowledge of procurement process
- CIPS desirable
